The Rough Runner 15km Challenge

Our toughest challenge. 20 epic obstacles designed to test your strength, agility, balance, and ninja skills. But that doesn’t mean carrying sandbags for half an hour or getting electrocuted. Our 15km course is no mean feat, but we’re not going to punish you with stamina-draining, painful and injury-inducing obstacles (unlike other events!).

The 15km still gives you all the easier, more fun-focused obstacles that feature on the 5km and 10km courses, but you’ll also get an extra 5 obstacles that are unique, and more physically challenging than the rest (we don’t do laps at Rough Runner). Plus of course you’ll be running nearly 10 miles!

If you’re keen to try all 20 obstacles, and don’t mind a bit of grafting, this is the one for you.

Unique obstacles you say?

Yep. Rough Runner obstacles aren’t run of the mill. You won’t find ‘buddy carries’ or hill climbs here. We only do things on an EPIC scale, and on the 15km, you’ll get all 20 of our wicked obstacles. Prepare for an upper body workout, tests of balance and co-ordination, and of course, plenty of wipeouts…

We change obstacles each event, and are always introducing new contraptions, but here’s an idea of some of the ones you’ll see most often on our 15km route.
