Obstacle and Running Events Calendar

Our events are like no other. We combine physical challenge, teamwork and fun across all of our events, with obstacles that you’ll only ever have seen on TV.

Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned veteran, there’s an event and a venue for you.

Each has a range of difficulty levels, with the 5km firmly focused on fun, the 10km upping the ante and the 15km bad-asses taking it to the toughest level.

So, whatever your fitness level, whatever you’re into, there’s an event rough enough and near enough for you.

Are you ready Scotland?

That’s right, Rough Runner is coming back for the 4th year running! Our inaugural event in 2016 was a great success, soon superseded by our 2017 and 2018 events, that saw over double the numbers and amazing feedback, so we have to come back!

So we’re bringing back our awesome, TV game show-inspired obstacles north of the border, to the stunning Penicuik Estate, just south of Edinburgh and in a stunning setting. It’s an amazing place and it makes for an incredible course.

For those who’ve been before, come back, take on the new route that this venue offers and see what new obstacles we have in store for you!

So go create a team, grab some friends and colleagues and help us to make an absolutely amazing event happen!

Rough Runner in spitting distance of the Underground? Yes please.

September 2019 will see us back in London for our 5th anniversary for a 5km and 10km run with all your favourite obstacles and a few new inventions too, with a beautiful blend of adrenaline, team banter and good, clean(ish) fun.

We are the only event in the industry that can offer a challenge of this scale within a 5 minute walk of the tube, so get involved early and prepare to join the fun!

A few minutes from Finsbury Park and Manor House underground stations, or Haringey train station – our most accessible location by far for public transport!

      • ?mins – London!
      • 20mins – Croydon
      • 1hr 15mins – Brighton

2 London events in one year? Yep – we’re doing it.

London is a beast of a city, so we thought we’d double up for 2019 and make sure we’ve got an event for everyone, whichever borough they’re from.

This is a totally different experience from our other London events. It’s further out of the centre (but still right near a tube station), so you get that countryside feel whilst looking out across the London skyline.

A few minutes from Morden underground station, or Morden South & St Helier train station – it’s a piece of cake to get to so come and get a taste of our more rural events, without leaving the tube network…
