ARE YOU READY LONDON?
Rough Runner’s heading to West London for the first time ever!!
6,500 Roughians nailed the Travelator last year at Finsbury Park, and another 6,000 at Morden Park, and we felt it was unfair for everyone in West London to miss out!
We know of no other event which brings a range of obstacles so massive, so ambitious, and so much fun right into our favourite London parks, so if you live or work in the capital, this is the perfect challenge for you.
We’ll be bringing the legendary Travelator with us to the doorstep of millions of Londoners, and giving you the opportunity to bring your favourite TV game show memories into reality.
Inspired by TV game shows like Total Wipeout, Gladiators, Takeshi’s Castle and Ninja Warrior, this is the only event that will give you the chance to take on a load of epic obstacles that you’ve only ever seen on screen and always wanted to try.
If you’ve always fancied taking part in one of our events, but getting there has been too much of a task, then this is the one for you.
If you want to see the rest of the obstacles you and the rest of your team will be up against, have a gander at the obstacles page.
Did we mention we have The Travelator?

Parking
We don’t offer car parking at our Gunnersbury event – there are multiple options for public transport instead.
It’ll be tricky to find parking nearby, it’ll probably be expensive, and who wants to navigate weekend traffic in London anyway?
If you do need to drive, then you’ll simply have to find a parking meter or car park nearby.
For other transport options, check out the section on Getting There below, and you’ll see where to go and what to do!
Details
- If you want to find out what’s included in the price, just click on the “What’s Included” tab.
- Start times will be from around 9am through to approx 3pm, and we will advise you of your start time about 7 – 10 days prior to the event date.
- Please arrive on site around 1 hour prior to your start time, to get yourself registered, set up and ready to run!
- Don’t be late! Check out the Getting there tab below!
Things you’ll need to bring:
1. A print out of your ticket, a signed waiver (Adult Waiver here), (Kids Waiver here), and photo ID. You can’t race without!
2. Cash for food and drinks on site – card payment machines outdoors can be temperamental.
3. Suitable clothing. This is up to you, but we’d suggest a warm change of clothes for after the event and gloves to use during (for all those nets and ropes). You will get muddy, and so will your trainers, so don’t wear anything you are particularly precious about!
Otherwise just check back here in the run up to the event, or feel free to drop us a line here.
Getting there
Best thing – check out on Google maps where the event is, or use the map higher up on this page.
By train, your best bet is Acton Town (Underground Station) on the Piccadilly/District Line – it’s a 10-minute walk.
Alternatively, Kew Bridge Station (serves both the District Line (Underground) and Overground (direct links to London Waterloo and Windsor) is a 12-minute walk.
By bus, there are a number of routes that will put you within throwing distance of the Park, but the closest are the E3 and H91 stops. Check the tfl.gov.uk website and find the best for you.
Don’t forget to check transport times beforehand in case of a strike or disruption.
